I just finished a video for today's protest. (Hey, it's still the 5th where I am!)

Remember, Remember the 5th of November, the gunpowder, treason and plot. I know of no reason the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot.

This is the rhyme sung in the UK on this night, where effigies of Guy Fawkes are burned in remembrance of the event some 400 years ago.

Guy Fawkes was a member of a group of Catholics who intended to blow up the houses of parliament in an attack on the protestant government. Guy Fawkes was captured as he was about to light the gunpowder, and he was executed.

Today, we use this mask, the likeness of Guy Fawkes to protest our own form of corrupt totalitarianism organization, the Church of Scientology.

By now, I'm sure most of you know who we are. We have been called terrorists, we have been called a hate machine, and we have been called activists. We are Anonymous, and while some of us are hackers who harass people over the internet for the fun of it, many of us are good people with good intentions. I am one of these people with good intentions.

I'm sure you have heard most of the information in this video, seeing as how it has been spread around the Internet like jam on freshly toasted bread. For those who have not heard about the crimes of the church of Scientology, I am here to inform you.

People just like you or me are lured in to the church with free personality and tests. After the Scientologists finish testing you, they make you feel uneasy. The results of the tests, conveniently, always seem to turn up something the church can help you with. Other people are drawn in by Scientology's front groups like Narcanon, a drug rehabilitation program, or Criminon, a rehabilitation program for criminals.

Once you are drawn in, you are offered auditing, a form of counseling using a primitive lie detector called an E-Meter. In auditing, you are guided by the auditor to remember traumatizing events from the past, and you dwell on them for extended periods of time, lowering your self esteem, and reportedly, giving you a sort of high. Now, when you're feeling good and depressed and convinced that your life sucks and that Scientology can help you, you are pressured to sign up for courses and more auditing, effectively brainwashing you and making you dependent on the church. And of course, all these courses and all this auditing costs you big time. The ultimate goal of the auditing and courses is to make you “clear,” a state where all of your problems are solved, and you are in peak mental and physical stability. At this state of clear, called “OT III” you are revealed the church's gospel. Getting to OT III can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Before I go any further, I'll give you a rundown of the beliefs of Scientology as stated on their official website, scientology.org.

Man is divided into three parts. The body, mind, and spirit, or thetan as it is called in Scientology. You have a body, you have a mind, you are a thetan. Basically, your body and mind will die off, but your thetan is your immortal soul. As a being, your main goal is to survive as well as possible for as long as possible. Life can be divided into eight dynamics. Eight urges towards survival, from survival as a single person, to connection to infinity, or the creator, or God or what have you. The tone scale, which is the gamut of emotions and how to handle them in communication with others. The ARC triangle which helps to further understanding with others. And auditing, a form of regression that supposedly helps you come to terms with past stressful experiences. These experiences are stored in the subconscious, or reactive mind, which is eliminated when you reach the level of clear.

This is, in a nutshell, the information given on the official website. It says nothing about aliens, but once you reach clear, after paying hundreds of thousands of dollars for auditing and courses that brainwash you, you are told the story behind all of humanity's problems. If you haven't seen the episode of South Park, I'll show you the clip. And yes, this IS what Scientologists actually believe.

They don't tell you this at the beginning, they deny the existence of the story, and it is a closely guarded secret in the church. This is not religion. This is a cult. Religions don't charge hundreds of thousands of dollars to gain access to their texts. The Torah, The Bible, and The Book of Mormon are all available online for free in their entirety, and are freely available to anyone who wishes to access them. Thanks to anti-Scientology movements, OT III is now public knowledge, and many, if not all Scientology documents are available online for free.

But this is only the tip of the iceberg in the long list of crimes committed by the cult of Scientology. Among others are several deaths that the church is responsible for, their fair game policy that torments those who speak out against them, and the largest government infiltration in US history. But these are all covered elsewhere online, and I will cover them in future videos. Right now, I will leave you with these parting words.
